Saleen Automotive (OTCQB:SLNN) – Saleen Automotive, highly respected for innovative high performance vehicles of all kinds, returns to the truck market with the announcement of their new 2018 Sportruck. Available beginning in November 2017, the truck will again be based on the popular Ford F150 platform. Power will be offered in four levels including enhanced Eco-boost turbocharged 2.7 and 3.6-liter engines as well as naturally aspirated and supercharged versions of 5.0-liter V8, the top level achieving a whopping 700HP.

Ford chose to use Saleen Superchargers on the Harley Davidson F150 editions, which were installed at the Saleen factory in Troy, Michigan. The time is right that we return to the market with a product that feeds an audience of hungry Saleen truck enthusiasts.”
The Saleen Sportruck will be instantly recognizable as a Saleen-exclusive offering. The new bodywork includes a functional air dam, front brake ducting, racing inspired grille and hood with center sculpting. The rear of the truck will feature Saleen nameplate trim in the center of the tailgate and large rear exhaust tips that tuck neatly into the lower rear valance for a race inspired look. Racecraft suspension, Saleen signature interior appointments and big brakes are standard. The trucks will be equipped with side skirts and Saleen-exclusive alloy wheels wrapped with high performance General Tires.

The much-heralded release of the 2018 Ford Mustang has set the stage for an even more exciting debut – three new 2018 Saleen Mustangs. This year marks the 20th Anniversary of the beginning of a 7-year consecutive run of racing championships for Saleen. CORONA, California – May 10, 2017 – Steve Saleen, CEO of Saleen Automotive, Inc., delivered a Special Edition Saleen Mustang Police Car to the Riverside Police Of cers’ Association in Riverside, California, which represents the Riverside Police Department’s frontline. Officers, Detectives, and Sergeants. This specially built Saleen Mustang will be used to bring awareness and attention to their fallen of officers and promotion and avocation of the Police Officers’ Assistance Fund, which provides financial assistance to officers’ families in Riverside and surrounding communities. It will also be a tool in recruiting new of officers, engaging the community, and generating a cohesive camaraderie with Riverside Residents.
The Saleen Mustang boasts the latest in technology starting with a whopping 730HP, powered by a twin-screw supercharger with a unique exhaust. It sports a fully revised suspension for extreme cornering, and wears Saleen big brakes, giving it ultimate stopping. The interior is fitted with Saleen gauges and necessary police equipment with full police lighting built into the cockpit for better exterior aerodynamics. Wrapped in black and white Riverside PD graphics, the Mustang sports a revised front end, Saleen rear wing, and is equipped with the necessary siren and external speakers. The Riverside PD employs roughly 350 men and women. Drivers of this particular Saleen Mustang have been specially trained to handle the speed, cornering, and overall handling. As with any tools assigned to department employees, only those quali ed will handle the car. To date, Steve Saleen has trained a handful of department employees. Melendrez feels Saleen’s continued work building police vehicles and training of officers with this exceptional technology would keep of officers safe. He is hopeful to continue a collaborative effort between Saleen and Riverside PD.

The Saleen brand opened its first international showroom in Shanghai, China. The elegant showroom is located in the upscale Jing An District in Shanghai and will not only assist in broadening the Saleen experience but also furthering the brand.
The opening of the Shanghai Showroom is the recent result of an agreement formed between Saleen and Saleen Motors International (“SMI”), an affiliate of GreenTech Automotive and licensee of the Saleen Brand in Asia.
